I really liked this novel。 It held my interest throughput。 A woman has secluded herself and her children in a place that is very hard to find。 Then she and one of her children are murdered。 Josie sets out to find out who killed her as well as find the other missing child。 It is a fast moving story with many twists。

I personally think this is the best book in the Josie Quinn series to date! I have read them all, and this book has everything, but it was hard to read。 There is a lot of loss and suffering, but the tale is fast paced and so very exciting, that I just could not put it down! I really wanted Noah and Josie to adopt poor little Emily。 I also have a couple of niggling thoughts about the storyline, firstly, at the very start of the book I thought it highly unlikely that Joise wouldn't have had a gun I personally think this is the best book in the Josie Quinn series to date! Angel lady – these words broke me in this book! This has been one of the more powerful story’s that Lisa has written。With an opening leaving you scratching your head to how it would fit and three months later it fits。 Just in ways that no one would ever think。Noah and Josie, are two beacons of light and deserve their happiness, at the beginning of this book, it spluttered。 I mean a dead body might do that。 I have always been in awe of Josie and it is no different here。 She does show her emotions Angel lady – these words broke me in this book! This has been one of the more powerful story’s that Lisa has written。With an opening leaving you scratching your head to how it would fit and three months later it fits。 Just in ways that no one would ever think。Noah and Josie, are two beacons of light and deserve their happiness, at the beginning of this book, it spluttered。 I mean a dead body might do that。 I have always been in awe of Josie and it is no different here。 She does show her emotions, only when it is appropriate。 She isn’t a machine, that Mettner accuses her of being。 I have a feeling, as we have seen, when she opens those doors it is hard to keep your emotions in check, especially in Hush Little Girl。It wasn’t so much a harrowing storyline, more of a hardship and pain that one person had to endure。 That for me was the hardest bit。 That some things were completely out of control, it, therefore, controlled every aspect of their lives。 The mental health and OCD side were tackled with consideration and care, not such an easy subject matter。More twists and turns than a piece of spaghetti but will leave you with sauce running down your face as your mouth drops with shock! I mean some things we saw and heard were just unreal。 I really didn’t expect it and I love the fact that still 11 books in Lisa still keeps me in suspense。 I have long given up trying to guess the whom or the why。 Instead, I try to find the subtle hints, and I picked up a few along the way。 So even though something was so shocking, I was like Aha, I suspected that!!I can never tire of Lisa’s writing and I really hope there are more books with Josie! I am not ready for this to end。 Another winner from me and again on my list at the end of the year! Book 12 anyone? 。。。more

Always exceptionally entertainingThis mystery will grip you from the start。 Josie, Noah and team work to solve a double homicide。 Josie becomes attached to one of the family members。 The children's lives are a sad story。 There's a shocking death in this book too。 Noah is one heck of a loving and patient man。 Always exceptionally entertainingThis mystery will grip you from the start。 Josie, Noah and team work to solve a double homicide。 Josie becomes attached to one of the family members。 The children's lives are a sad story。 There's a shocking death in this book too。 Noah is one heck of a loving and patient man。 。。。more

I thoroughly enjoyed reading the most recent 'episode' in Josie Quinn's life but to be honest I found it a little bit predictable and a poor plot。 It also seemed a bit shorter than other of Lisa's books in the series。 Maybe it's time for Josie to have a gaggle of babies and retire from the police force。 I thoroughly enjoyed reading the most recent 'episode' in Josie Quinn's life but to be honest I found it a little bit predictable and a poor plot。 It also seemed a bit shorter than other of Lisa's books in the series。 Maybe it's time for Josie to have a gaggle of babies and retire from the police force。 。。。more

I love these Josie Quinn stories。 She often rushes headlong into things without backup but we wouldn't have many of those great suspenseful moments if she didn't。 As always, I'm looking forward to the next installment of this series。 I love these Josie Quinn stories。 She often rushes headlong into things without backup but we wouldn't have many of those great suspenseful moments if she didn't。 As always, I'm looking forward to the next installment of this series。 。。。more

The best one yet。 I have been a fan since book one。 Once I start one, I can not stop until I get to the end。 This book was the best one yet。 The characters are so real, I feel like I know them。 I hope there are more stories to follow。

One of the best in a brilliant series。I was excited to see that this book had been released, as I've read all the ones before it and was having serious Josie Quinn withdrawal symptoms。Lisa Regan has created a community filled with characters who feel pretty much like family to me now。 I've been missing them。And the plot of Hush Little Girl was excellent。I'm now awaiting the next book in this addictive series。 One of the best in a brilliant series。I was excited to see that this book had been released, as I've read all the ones before it and was having serious Josie Quinn withdrawal symptoms。Lisa Regan has created a community filled with characters who feel pretty much like family to me now。 I've been missing them。And the plot of Hush Little Girl was excellent。I'm now awaiting the next book in this addictive series。 。。。more

I’m going to be honest—I don’t read detective novels。I’m going to be honest again—if I read a detective novel, it’s one of Lisa Regan’s。A fast, interesting read, with an ending that surprised me。 Definitely check it out!

Excellent! The story in this one was very strong。 There was good suspense, and a good psychological component to the mystery。 Sad, though, too。

I'm a fan of Josie Quinn and this one didn't fail! Josie and Noah are getting married, Josie is dressed, made up and only waiting for the ceremony to start。 A little girl's body is found and everything goes downhill from there。 It's quite a twisty mystery and quite enjoyable。 I don't want to give too much away! There Are No Guarantees In Life Lisa Regan does it again。 I absolutely love Josie and Noah and their extended family。 This one deals with mental health, secrets and the deaths of a child and her mother and a loss that hits even closer to home。Nothing brings people together like a wedding and the long awaited marriage of Josie and Noah is no exception, but when do things ever go smoothly。This book will keep you turning pages when you really should be sleeping or working。 I’m thankful that Mr。 Phi There Are No Guarantees In Life Lisa Regan does it again。 I absolutely love Josie and Noah and their extended family。 This one deals with mental health, secrets and the deaths of a child and her mother and a loss that hits even closer to home。Nothing brings people together like a wedding and the long awaited marriage of Josie and Noah is no exception, but when do things ever go smoothly。This book will keep you turning pages when you really should be sleeping or working。 I’m thankful that Mr。 Phillips allowed his mom to devote her attention to another wonderful Josie Quinn story。 。。。more

Lisa Regan never disappoints!Another incredible, twisting, murder mystery masterfully told。 A page turner to be sure。 I can never figure out who the guilty person is until they are revealed, that is great writing。 Lisa tackles tough issues through her story telling with wonderful sensitivity and professionalism。 Very well researched。 As always the characters are so great。 Simply, a great read and I look forward to number 12! Thank you Lisa!

Suspenseful to the EndI am a fan of the Josie Quinn series。 I have watched other series, from other authors, wind down after a while。 The Detective Josie Quinn series has been one of the few that I pre-order without even reading a blurb。 The series has released 11 books。 The characters are well written。 The cases interesting。 I always look forward to them。 This case was of some added interest to me, but I won't spoil the book。 I appreciate the research Lisa Regan must have done to be accurate in Suspenseful to the EndI am a fan of the Josie Quinn series。 I have watched other series, from other authors, wind down after a while。 The Detective Josie Quinn series has been one of the few that I pre-order without even reading a blurb。 The series has released 11 books。 The characters are well written。 The cases interesting。 I always look forward to them。 This case was of some added interest to me, but I won't spoil the book。 I appreciate the research Lisa Regan must have done to be accurate in the findings。 I learned a bit that I didn't know。 The "victim" was endearing。 I highly recommend this series and eagerly await #12 。。。more
